Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 August 2026

By using ro-weather.app (“Ro-Weather”, “the site”) you agree to the terms below. Please read the safety notice in particular — it matters more here than on most sites, because Ro-Weather deals with weather warnings.

Safety notice: Ro-Weather is not an official warning authority

Ro-Weather publishes its own supplementary weather warnings and outlooks alongside official Met Office and MeteoAlarm data. These are provided for general awareness only. For any decision affecting your safety — travel, outdoor activity, evacuation, or anything else where being wrong has real consequences — always check and follow the official warnings issued by the Met Office (metoffice.gov.uk) or your local government authority, not this site. Ro-Weather is not liable for actions taken, or not taken, based on its content.

What Ro-Weather is

Ro-Weather is an informational service providing forecasts, radar, lightning tracking, weather warnings and written reports. It draws on a mix of official sources (Met Office, MeteoAlarm) and third-party weather data providers, alongside content written by the site's operator. It is provided for general interest and planning purposes, not as a substitute for professional or official meteorological advice.

Accuracy of data

Weather forecasting is inherently uncertain, and Ro-Weather aggregates data from multiple third-party providers it does not control. We make reasonable efforts to display this data accurately, but we cannot guarantee that any forecast, radar image, warning, or report is complete, current, or error-free. Use it as one input among several, not as the final word.

Accounts

Signing in is handled by Clerk. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

  • Don't attempt to access the admin area or any account other than your own.
  • Don't scrape, republish at scale, or resell data from this site without permission.
  • Don't use the site in any way that disrupts it for other users or the underlying third-party services it relies on.

Intellectual property

The Ro-Weather name, logo, and original written content (including reports and warnings authored by the site) belong to Ro-Weather. Weather data itself is sourced from and remains subject to the terms of the original providers (Met Office, MeteoAlarm, Open-Meteo, OpenWeatherMap, RainViewer and others listed in our Privacy Policy).

Limitation of liability

Ro-Weather is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, reliance on its content, or its unavailability — including where that arises from inaccurate third-party data outside our control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
